Commission to Preserve National Monuments
First day (Tuesday, September 09, 2008)
- Agenda of the Commission’s 40th session;
- Minutes of the Commission’s 39th session, held from July 15 to 17, 2008 inSarajevo;
- Report on the Commission’s activities since the 39th session;
- Report on the material-financial operations of the Commission since the 39th session;
- Changes and amendments of the Rule book on the internal procedures for public procurements of merchandise, services and works;
- Information on activities related to preparation of the Cultural Policy Strategy in BiH;
- Question on participation of Martin Cherry, designated international member, in the Commission work;
- Information on designation of the new Focal Points for periodic reporting;
- Information on visit of Todor Krestev, ICOMOS expert, related to the nomination of the natural and cultural property of Jajce to the World Heritage List;
- Information on preparation of the nomination of stećak tombstones for inscription on the Tentative lists of the World Heritage;
- Meeting with representatives of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport, Federal Ministry of the Regional Planning, Institute for Protection of Monuments in the composition of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport and the Zemaljski museum of BiH related to undertaking of the necessary protective measures and continuation of the archaeological investigation at the historic site of the Old Visoki fort;

- Historic area – Ramparts and gates of the Old Jajce fortress – request of the Jajce municipality to issuea recommendation for the reconstruction and repair of the Medvjed kula (Bear tower);
- Archaeological site – Ripač near Bihać – request of the Department of Spatial Planning and public utilities of Bihać municipality for decision on legalization residential buildings of Pašagić Husein and Kadić Goran to remain in power;
- Site and remnants of the architectural ensemble of the Ferhad paša mosque (Ferhadija) in Banja Luka, with the Ferhad paša turbe, the Safi-kaduna turbe, the turbe of Ferhad paša's bajraktar, the fountain, the mosque graveyard and surrounding walls, and the portico – building of the memorial complex to the killed soldiers of the fatherland war of the Republika Srpska in the protective zone;
Second day (Wednesday, September 10, 2008)
- Draft decision to designate the archaeological site of the prehistoric hillfort known as Velika gradina and the remains of a Roman watchtower in Vidoši, Municipality Livno, as a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the natural and historic site of the necropolis of stećak tombstones and nišan tombstones, obelisk and the remains of the church St Rocco in Bakići Donji, Municipality Olovo, as a national monumentof BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the natural and historic site of the necropolis with stećak and nišan tombstones at Grčko groblje (Greek burial ground) and Svatovsko groblje (Greblje) in the village of Donji Močioci, Municipality Stari Grad, Sarajevoas a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the historic site of the necropolis with stećak tombstones at Poljice, Dolovi, Municipality Konjic as a national monument ofBiH;
- Draft decision to designate the historic site of the Mramorje necropolis with stećak tombstones in Lavšići, Municipality Olovo as a national monument ofBiH;
- Meeting with representative of the Eparchy of the Hum-Herzegovina and coast and Republic Institute for protection of Cultural-Historical and Natural Heritage of Republika Srpska related to repair of the walls and proceeding with construction of the Church of Saint George in Gomiljani, Trebinje;
- Draft decision to designate the site and remains of the mosque with harem in Međurječje (the Maldovan pasha mosque) near Čajniče, Municipality Čajniče, as a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the architectural ensemble of the Džudža Džafer mosque (Čaršija mosque) with harem in Tomislavgrad, as a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the architectural ensemble of the Gazi Husrev-bey vakuf in Sarajevo with movable property as a national monument of BiH;
Third day (Thursday, September 11, 2008)
- Draft decision to designate The architectural ensemble of the mosque in Umoljani, Municipality Trnovo, as a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the residential architectural ensemble of the vakuf of Zejna Elezović (Zejna Elezović's house, the Vakuf court) in Stolac as anational monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to ascertain that the City (Sultan Ahmed) mosque in Prijedor does not fulfill criteria to be designate as a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the historic monument of the Clock Tower in Donji Vakuf as a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate Residential architectural ensemble of the Behmen family in Stolac as a national monument of BiH;
- Draft decision to designate the Church of the Saint George in Sopotnica, Municipality Novo Goražde as a national monument of BiH;
- Meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Communication and Traffic of BiH related to the question on influence of the highway route at the corridor Vc to the protective historic urban area of Počitelj;
- Draft decision to designate the townscape ensemble of the Lukomir village, Municipality Konjic as a national monument of BiH;
