The Commission is available to the media for statements, interviews and guest appearances. With regard to the rules of the Commission, Chairperson and members of the Commission are the people who appear in the media on behalf of the Commission. If the members of the Commission are prevented, they nominate a person from the Secretariat of the Commission to come forward in the media with pre-agreed common stance of all members of the Commission.
Media representatives wishing to interview the Chairperson and members of the Commission should submit a completed Interview Application Form at least 48 hours prior to the requested date for the interview. The officer for public relations will inform you as soon as possible about the possibilities for an interview.
To help journalists and other researchers in reaching the basic information about the number of national monuments, number of endangered monuments, and the number of properties on the list of petitions and the provisional list, we suggest exploring the database of monuments (link) and searching the internet to get the required information.
We emphasize that all the properties in the database are the properties that enjoy particular protection, regardless of whether they are on the provisional list or the list of petitions. For national monuments and monuments from the list of endangered properties, the highest level of the state protection is still in force.
