The works upon re-construction of electrical installation in exhibition halls of the Department of Prehistoric period of the National Museum in Sarajevo are going to start on the 2^nd July, 2018. The works, which cost 13.000 KM, include re-construction of electrical installation; the old and worn out installation is going to be changed and the modern cable net with accompanying items and elements will be introduced and installed and it will enable setting up of the contemporary exhibition which is being prepared.

In relation to it, on the 28^th June, 2018, the Project team of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments and the Management team of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina held the meeting together with the chosen Contractor and the Construction supervisor team, companies Electra Ltd and Elekting Ltd from Sarajevo. The Project of re-construction of electrical installation was carried out and done by the company Deling Ltd Tuzla as its contribution to the Museum's re-construction. The previously mentioned works are at the same time and the preparation for restoration of the ceiling and wall painting in the halls of the Department of Prehistoric period of the National Museum. The wall painting presents a rare example of the preserved secessionist painting in the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Floral motifs of the painting which appear  on all walls and on the ceiling are combined with the faces of idealized nymphs and muses.

The works are carried out and done within the project named “Preventive Conservation of the Collections of the National Museum in Sarajevo“, financial means of which have been provided and donated by the Special Fund of American  Ambassadors for Preservation of Cultural Heritage which exists, functions and works as the part of the USA Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Project which worths 625.000,00 USD (1.070.000,00 convertible marks), is implemented by the Commission to Preserve National Monuments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
